Landscape Art #2
Attracted by acid colors and syrupy textures, the gaze of the lethargic spirit remains glued to the screen, like a fly caught in the trap of a Drosera. Allegory of man mechanically consuming appetizing images on his phone for his mind, acting like a narcotic serum on his volition.
Sitting comfortably in the felt of our modern ease where the weft and the warp that contemporary society has woven under our feet must guarantee us a daily tranquility to the point of atharaxia, we play, we bet, we juggle with our joys, our fears, our emotions and our false pains in the casino of our lives in search of the great lost thrill.
Journey into the infinitely small and infinitely alive, of this ductile physiological fluid which is the somatic soul of all living bodies, witness to the evanescence of cells and the bonds that are made and undone in a romantic undulation.
This work is an ode to the flexible and interactive properties of fluids and colors. Presented in a multitude of layers where the play of transparencies constantly mix the colors, the syrupy, protean, frivolously colored substances wander in an interdimensional environment, meet, attract, mix, separate in a movement and a permanent harmony.
